Moussa is hurt. Saarel is returning from injury. We'll see. The frosh ran well and their depth is pretty solid.

“I saw two good teams; two teams that are maybe a little better than I expected. A year ago, the conditions were perfect and the stars were in alignment and people ran real fast and I didn’t expect to come close to those performances again this year since we had the 14 or 15 years prior to last year. But, they did anyway. Despite my apprehensions or superstitions, people ran really fast, comparable to where we were a year ago. They weren’t bad.”

Last year they had six runners within 30 seconds of each other. If Saarel doesn't come fully back, I think they're still favored, but vulnerable. They're women look a bit stronger this year, but podium seems tough. Szuch had an impressive run.

I know we've seen plenty of prodigies burn out, but that's unreal to be close to or possibly in the top 7 of the ncaa's #2 team at 11.

Colorado's season is over. They should have studied Mick Byrne's training philosophy. Didn't they know if you start racing before conference your team will blow up.

"The Buffs had a strong showing with the athletes who ran, but a few runners were held out of Saturday’s shootout. Junior Carrie Verdon and sophomores Melanie Nun and Tayler Tuttle raced unattached at Metro State’s Roadrunner Invitational. All three did well and were led by Verdon, who finished the course in 21:40. Nun placed third overall (22:09) and Tuttle was fourth (22:23)."

So Tabor Scholl is at CU but she didn't even have a CU number like the other unattached runners. Is she redshirting or not part of the CU team?

An 11 year old got 10th place in a collegiate cross country meet?! Even if its not that competitive of a meet that is ridiculous. Could she win a D3 national title today?

I thought Scholl was still in high school. I don't think she's part of the CU team yet. But maybe verbally committed to CU?

Carrie Verdon was racing in Denver along with Melanie Nun, Tayler Tuttle, and Lucy Cheadle

Tabor was homeschooled and couldn't attend CU this fall because of an issue with transfer credits. But she has committed to Colorado and will join us next time.

And Her brother running like 10.20ish for 3000 S/c on his own at altitue in Boulder BEFORE he even gets to high school is ridiculous

On the plus side Perrin ran quite well, and Colorado's freshmen look promising.

Saarel is probably the last person to worry about. The guy is money every time.
