Currently I am 1:16 half-marathoner averaging 60 miles/wk.
I am willing to work hard and do what it takes to go 1:10 for HM next spring. Is that possible and what should my training look like to achieve this?
My stats -- 30+ yrs, 5 ft 7 in., 140 pounds, full time work, started running in 2011. HM progress year by year since then:
2011--1:38
2012--1:27
2013--1:24
2014--1:20
2015--1:16
This is the first year I'm doing 50-60 mi/wk on average. Before that it was mostly around 30-40 mi/wk or even less. I love hard workouts (6x1000 vo2max work or 6x1600 thresh. work) and I do them quite often.
