it's 50/50 if you ask me, based on your first post. It depends how comfortable you feel after those mile reps. I'm assuming you mean 3x 1 mile. If you feel like you could do more after those mile repeats, I'd say you have a chance. If you're spent after those mile repeats, I think the odds are less in your favor.

5 x 1 mile @ 5:25 pace with equal rest = Yes sub 17 3 x 1 mile ? maybe if your long run is solid.
