Not if you eat a large portion of pasta the day before.
It really depends on what your pr is and how fit you are. In general, someone doubling back 4 hours later should be able to pr, but if you've run like 1:46 or something. I'd try to pr in the 15 and just use whatever I have left for the 8 so as to not risk running 2 medicore races, if the 15 is more taxing than expected.
Yes, probably.
I don't think it should..back in high school I used to double all the time with less rest than that and I really don't think it effected me at all, maybe half a second at most. Run with some balls and you'll be fine
