Jasaris were the best distance spike for a long time. More than ten years. Now Nike makes better distance spikes. I would never wear a Jasari for anything after having worn the Victory, for example. I'm sure most people who have worn Jasaris would agree that the most recent generations of distance spike are better. Little demand anymore, except as a collectible.
I wouldn't agree, but then again, I guess I could be classified as the other "not most" portion. My jasari upper/eldoret plate spikes were superior BY FAR to the current Victory 2, as well as the original Victory. The jasari upper is like a loose sock almost. It felt like I was barefoot. The Vics destroyed my feet. I ran my first sub 4 in the original jasaris, and wish I'd put away 10 boxes of them in my closet. Of course, much has to do with personal preference, I suppose.
