Rupp's 2015 Racing Schedule- very odd

Probably a injury shortly after USA's, I think if it wasn't he would've at least run 1 race since then

when has Rupp ever been injured?

M'Loufi has been on fire this year, I wouldn't be surprised to see him win gold this year

Just speculation, is Rupp ever in Europe right now? I think Centro mentioned it in a pre-Monaco interview, but I'm not sure, he might be back home in Eugene

I'm surprised he didn't run the Emsley Carr Mile, he ran it in 2013 before Worlds, this would have been a great meet to get in speed before worlds

Running a 13:12 and a slow 5k/10k at USA's isn't going to get the job done, he's run nothing lower than 5k this outdoor season

Levins showed promise with his 27:07, but hasn't done much since, I see him cracking top 8 at Worlds after his bronze at CW last summer

If Rupp can medal in the 10k off of 3 outdoor races (2 of which were qualifiers) I have to hand it to him

Rupp didn't look himself at Pre but I have to think he's just trying to peak right for Worlds

Are you unaware that runners can do speed work in practice? Under distance races are unnecessary

One year of college XC, he wore a band around one of his thighs for a year or two afterwards. Other than that, pretty much never.

Stockholm Diamond League is in 6 days, but no, Rupp is not entered. Could be he's just recovering from his double at USAs. True said he was exhausted afterward. His only race since USAs was to get a 5k standard, which Rupp already has. Perhaps there were races he could have done, but Farah might have been in them. I suspect Salazar doesn't want them racing each other until Worlds.

elfie rupp has a very strict doping schedule; no time for races

I heardThere is a 10000 in Portland on August 8th where they are going for really fast times sub 26:30 for the men and sub 30:00 for the women.

Hopefully he will run that to get a new personal best and then he can go for Gold in the 10000 in on August 22nd and then he is in the 5000, then after worlds there are still some big meets Berlin,Zurich,Brussells and Reiti.

I'm all for the Portland 10,000, but to claim that it's "replacing" Brussels is a bit of a stretch.

His schedule reminds me of Alan Culpepper, who made numerous U.S. teams but wouldn't go to Europe to race. It may be that he's getting sick more often this year because of the babies/lack of sleep.

Well Brussels didn't seem like they wanted to host the 10k since 2011 when Bekele ran 26:43, I mean Gebresellasie/Bekele are past their prime and unless Farah tells the meet director he's going for a fast time and other fast guys like Kamworor/Tanui/Rupp/Karoki follow, I don't see them hosting another 10k anytime soon

I'm glad to see the Portland 10k, cause the 10k truly is dying in track and field, especially with it not being a DL event, and there needs to be more international 10k's on the Euro Circuit

I don't see Rupp running the Portland 10k, I'm not really sure if there's any reason to, but hey, who knows

I think under distance races are a good indication of speed, putting the speed work in practice into a meet, so it definitely doesn't hurt, especially when your season is as dry as Rupp's been so far

He'll probably benefit more from a quick 15 before worlds than just showing up to the starting line at Beijing not having raced in 2 months

Why would he run a fast 10k 2 weeks before the world championships? Use your head, fellas.
