Again, thanks! A .02 PR for Efraimson. And it's beginning to look more and more possible that Moser will be the fourth women's 1500 runner at Beijing (although Schneider has a new PR by .58).

Good result for Mary Cain...the farther away she gets from Portland the faster she runs!

I know, but the link on the homepage goes to a funky page. Even now, the links sends you to a page that says "Waiting" in the "Status" column for every event. I don't know about you, but when I see that the status is "Waiting," I assume that means the results are not available. I now see I was wrong.
Interestingly, if you clink on the link that says "Via Timetronics.be," on your page, it sends you to page I've linked to.
I did, however, not see that someone had already posted all of this on the message board. My bad! -
Does anyone have a link for videos of these racest? It'd be fun to see them.

It's all good, yes the "waiting" message was what that page said earlier in the day before the results happened, but the links still go to the results (before the race they went to the startlists).
Here is a page with all the results in one place (although there isn't really a whole lot to look at besides the 1500 and 800s): http://www.letsrun.com/news/2015/07/full-results-from-2015-international-meeting-de-liege-victories-and-prs-for-alexa-efraimson-800-and-rachel-schneider-1500/ -
I asked this on the other thread but I still wonder why Lauren Johnson was the rabbit for this 1500 when she can still qualify for Beijing by getting the standard which she doesn't have yet.
-
Here's Alexa's 800. Just cruised to victory and a PR.

She's learning how to race (3 times in the last week). Looked as fresh as a daisy today. -
Who exactly is Rachel Schneider is my question.
-
I could be wrong, because I was watching this out of the corner of my eye when I should have been working, but I don't think Johnson was the rabbit. She fell early in the race, as did Heather Kampf later on. The field was too large, in my opinion.
Just in reply to another post, Rachel Schneider ran for Georgetown, graduated last year, I think--All American in both track and cross country, although she was always a little under the radar, I was a bit surprised to see her running pro, but its great that she's having such success. -

I see by looking at the other thread I was wrong. Sorry! But there were two falls, and the field was too large. -

Rachel graduated last year from Georgetown and has been training with the team this year. She ran mostly the 800m in college, but has graduated to the 1500m and has been doing well. She just missed 4th place in the 1500m at nationals by 0.01 s. Now she is chasing the 4:06.5 mark; Lauren Johnson who did finish 4th is also chasing that mark. -
Thanks for posting the vids.
I love the commentary. Very low key and matter of fact:
"Leonard looks like she has got energy to spare. She does have a very unorthodox way of running, but it certainly is effective. Now she's being hunted down. Can she hold on? The answer for that certainly is going to be no. It's going to be an American victory."
Efraimson did make it look fairly effortless. -
Video here (Johnson is clearly the rabbit).
