Not cool to post about yourself, Nick.

Things just seeem right again

I hope Loxsom has something for the rest of the meet. A PR in the heats!

Clayton Murphy though.... -
One of the most entertaining 800s I've watched. Nick's post-race interview on Flotrack is worth the six minutes. He said he owes Salazar an apology.
-
Now we know who would win an 800m between a bear and a dwarf
-
Shaq walker though.

Even if he did post himself. We'll done. He's 31 and still one of the top 800 runners in the country

No way Symmonds is done with cool down and massage when this post is about 45 minutes after the 2nd 800 heat ended. -

Sounds more like an anonymous rojo post since he likes saying "order is restored." Nothing wrong with that.

-
seriously though how is nobody giving any attention to clayton murphy right now???
Starts his sophomore season without having broken 1:50: is now in the 800 finals after running a 1:45 in the heats..... -
Nike just wasted their money early on Berian.

Congrats to Clayton and the athlete deserves the bulk of the credit.
However, what a great job Lee Labadie does and has done at Akron with middle distance runners, and Gary, Croghan, and OSU guys long before that. Labadie is an excellent coach.
Again, congrats to Murphy and I hope he has a great final as well. -

I would wait and see how things go in the summer and coming years. He just had a huge leap in time and barely missed his first USA champs finals. By all accounts he is still trending in the right direction. I suspect that with a little more experience he will be fine. -
It's not easy to do rounds at this level and that's something Boris Berian wasn't able to get here. But let's be reasonable here. He just ran an incredible series of pr's, dropping three seconds to 1:45, doing another 1:45 controlled, and then going 1:43.84 in windy conditions to challenge David Rudisha. He's had a great season and maybe he'll need to get back to the training before going to Europe and maybe breaking 1:43. Perhaps he peaked against Rudisha.
Congratulations to Nick Symmonds for doing this well. Whereas I got Berian wrong, Symmonds is doing well for me so far>he has a history not only of doing well here but of getting very quickly into form for this race. Congratulations to Loxsom for this long-expected sub 1:45. -

Symmonds went out more evenly, whereas Berian went out in 24 seconds. -

More like Nike shoes messed him up.
