Which you are doing right now.
Cook is a good coach. At GMU his teams were incredible for many years. Numerous IC4A titles and some great individual athletes. His word should carry some weight. He knows track.
Malmo, was Henry Marsh juiced in your opinion?
Sports Illustrated, Tim Layden, 1997 - quote from Salazar regarding Slaney's failed test; notes that he is one of her coaches.
Sports Illustrated, Tim Layden, 1996 - article on Slaney at Prefontaine Meet; again notes Salazar as one of Slaney's coaches.

I have done my fair share of offering thinly veiled defenses of AlSal because I know he is a great coach and how hard he works; however, there is now too much smoke for their to be no fire. AlSal appears to have been operating knee deep in the grey area, but he has not earned his place on the t&f 'registry' yet. There still is nothing to suggest as part of NOP, he participated in doping his athletes, that is, providing them with banned substances. Also, as far as the grey area pharmaceuticals or processes are concerned, I still have not read anything that would hold up in criminal court or go beyond some type of IAAF arbitration/reprimand. - This reminds me of the Bill Cosby case, a lot noise but nothing comes of it except for damaged reputations.

Not down to the line like the 1500m WR with Puica and Budd just behind her in 4:17 (where Mary ran 4:16 and led from 800m (2:10), which had been paced by Delisa Walton-Floyd), but another classic Mary Decker wire to wire victory.

Not the "hard worker" defense. Lance Armstrong was a hard worker, sort of. What's Al Sal on? He's on the track running a coaching/doping program 12 hours a day!
If the source of his "greatness" is dope, what are you actually saying?
Isn't Salazar trying to say he was just one of the coaches for Mary, and not the main one? He provided advice but not the day to day oversight.
He has to clear things up with the UK (and Mo), because it sounds like he misled them.
