Centro made a valid point. Willis called out those who associate with shady coaches, agents, etc., and Centro points out that Willis's own agent is Tyson Gay's agent. That does not mean that the agent had anything to do with Gay's doping, or that Willis does either. But it shows that Willis was being hypocritical. He's still a great guy but he might want to follow his own advice and switch agents. Centro turns out to be a very smart guy, as was evident in that awkward q and a presentation with Salazar, Centro, Rupp, and Cain. But it has to be said that the connection of Centro to NOP is obviously a lot closer than that of Willis to his agent, as Salazar tries to control everything about his athletes's lives, including obviously their medications. On the testosterone issue, as a quotation from the Nike doctor in the article indicates, they are not trying to give them high testosterone, but rather to keep them in the "normal" range, so they get more testosterone (depleted, maybe, by very intense workouts with little recovery) than they otherwise would have, while not testing positive for it. Nike's involvement in all this is much closer than shown before by the role of their own medical lab in testing before their athletes test positive elsewhere.
As for this agent stealing other agents' clients, that is the business of most agents, as the film Jerry Maguire showed, and that was a FOOTBALL movie, of course.
Here is what is really getting to me
1. The generic language in both Rupp and Salazar's statements. They are not really denying anything. This worries me more than the allegations.
2. The way that Centro is completely out of the loop on whatever may or may not be going on. The way he is acting on Twitter is a complete 180 from the statements of his coach and training group member.
3. It doesn't take a brain to be a distance runner. Do you see all of the typos in the tweet reactions?
4. The way that NOP is mostly trying to act like Epstein is some middle school editor. The guy has done some big BIG work.
5. If the picture of the lab work on a 16 year old is indeed about Rupp and the possible drugs were used for suspicious reasoning, he's been living this way a long long time.
6. Have they done a comparison of the hand writing of the check to the writing of Cytemol?
7. There aren't denials. Rupp and Salazar questioning credibility of Propublica. Centro questioning credibility of Willis. That's disturbing. We have seen this before.

OH NOES! Backwards hats!
It is just smurked that Wetmore is a dirty player in a dirty sport. It's like the mafia giving an award to itself. Willis, who expresses his faith, hold read Ps. 1:1 and accepting the counsel of someone like his "respected" agent. The same agent that has expressed his disdain for people of faith like Willis.

Centro is making a fool of himself. Like father like son. Maybe he should ask his dad who got Don Clary hooked on cocaine?
If Don Clary got hooked on cocaine, then it was probably Don Clary who got Don Clary hooked on cocaine. Unless someone held him down and forced it up his nose.
But speaking of Clary, I've always thought his performances in the 1984 Trials are pretty remarkable:
H 6/16/84 28:29.76 2nd
F 6/19/84 28:28.11 8th
H 6/21/84 13:37.02 1st
S 6/22/84 13:35.22 1st
F 6/24/84 13:28.62 3rd PR, Olympic team
Yep, sadly I've heard this, especially Clary, who got in trouble with the law for drug use or selling.
The UO recently handed out private counseling records of a woman who was allegedly raped by 3 UO basketball players. That's insane and now they're finding out the UO counseling dept., has handed out confidential records in the past without client consent.
That university has lost its way.
Centro needs to lay low and shut the F up. NOP is not looking good right now. He's acting like it's a joke. It's not.
"His times are not outstanding and that makes sense for someone who is CLEAN."
What?
Not everyone who does Testoterone, blood transfusions, and EPO runs world class times
If it did, everyone would be doing it, you still have to have natural talent, hard work, and dedication
Centro's PR of 3:31 and 3:50 aren't bad, are you saying him and everyone who's slower HAS to be clean? Why wasn't Mo Trafeh breaking an 59:30 in the half or 2:04 in the marathon? He was on EPO...
Centro's PR's are "good enough" to put him in contention in championship racing, he the best tactical miler that I know, he always puts himself in good position at global championships
I think he's clean, but the point is, your perception on the correlation for times and drug use is illogical
Why do Bekele and Hicham have to be on another planet for their WR's if they were clean? Someone has to hold the record, don't they?
Angry (not Andy) has a twitter spat with Gatlin fan Hamza Driouch, the drug cheat who trained recently with Farah
How the f do u know Willis is clean?
The same way you the f know Centro is clean.
To the dude saying "Centro would run 4:25 with a 5.0 mph tailwind"...he ran 4:02....in high school...and no i'm not centro but that was just a dumb comment.
Here is the real deal- this many people cannot be lying, Rupp and Salazar are dirty and have likely been so for a long time. Along the way many NOP former and current athletes have had to make performance enhancing drug decisions based off of the information we have seen. Some have probably done it and some have not. The jury is out on which way Centro has gone on that road. Given his progression I don't find it impossible to believe that he is clean. His big time performances fit his progression and his major wins and top finishes have been mostly in tactical affairs where he has always had immense success. The guy is the best pure race on the planet in the 1500/mile.
None of the news sources or interviews have implicated centro but it is clear and obvious that this many people indicating Rupp as a doper cannot be wrong. With Rupp as the focus of the NOP it's also not impossible to believe that all of the attention and drug use was geared toward Rupp's success. Thus we can safely speculate/conclude that some of the larger allegations may specifically isolate to Rupp who is the longest standing member of NOP and longest coach disciple of Salazar.
My thoughts only of course.

Maybe Centro's a nice guy, maybe he sucks, I don't know. But Clay Mayes is a grade A dummy.

Am I missing something? This whole Nick Willis vs. Matt Centrowitz twitter argument had me scratching my head. According to the Athletics Manager page (see the link), Treniere Moser is also represented by Mark Wetmore. So is Centro calling out Willis, and in turn, calling out one of his own teammates? Is this page not up-to-date or is Centro ignorant?

Centro was not on the sauce when he twittered himself to shame. Someone finally got a hold of him and Centro is now in silent mode.
Nick Willis admitted he was out-smarted by Centro.
