JK wrote this. I can not believe a coach as heralded as JK can not fathom thinking outside the box (his quote "no exceptions" suggests this route is the only route). How can one possibly say that you need to run that much to maximize your potential? Different strokes for different folks JK. OR, by potential do you mean that you should be able to run 120-150 but don't necessarily need to run that much? If that is the case then I think more people in the US have achieved that fitness level... some will need to do it more slowly than others, but most competetive runners can run 120 miles a week at 7:30 pace don't you think?
Also, a question: What type of runner was this written for? A marathoner? 10k guy? 5k guy?
