Anyone else unable to log into Flotrack?
She looked very smooth. Paced by her teammate who went about 600 metres or so. She seems capable of going sub 2 in a very fast race. She has great speed and soon as she gets some strength she'll be the new Cain.

Had some issues early on with logging in but then managed to get the stream. However it's very laggy and the commentator keeps talking off mic when nothing is happening on the track. Not sure he understands that we can still hear him.

Wonder what Cain is thinking about this. Surely she must have realized by now that Alexa is quickly catching up to her level.
Good for her. I am happy to admit to having been wrong about her. I thought she had turned pro too soon. Maybe she's just better at the shorter events.

Yikes! She's had quite a week.
Who paced her tonight? Moser? I wonder if she could have run faster than 2:03.23 at Oxy if she'd been in a faster heat.
This puts her # 2 for high school girls behind Cain.
It'd be great to see her in one of the 800s at Pre. Let's hope that's not prom night!
For the last year or two, she's looked like a fully grown woman. With her physique, and hard training, it's hardly any surprise that she can tear it up, and slaughter 'girls' of HS age, not to mention a lot of other older women. Being 5'7" with legs the size of tree trunks helps to beat your puny rivals. I'd say she's got more chance than Cain of lasting the distance, though.

Lol leg size has nothing to do with running success

Celebrate! She seems a wholesome good natured runner so best wishes and she ought to enjoy fruits of her Labors.
Great race, her teammate took her through I 1:29 high, then Alexa looked tough through the finish. It looked like her teammate could have finished with her. 1:59 here she comes. Atta girl!!!

I was surprised Mike used McKayla to rabbit tonight since they both ran 2:03 on Sunday. She's just a few years older but she has to run unattached and rabbit her sponsored teammate.

Other fast times: Luc Bruchet won the men's 3000 in 7:57. University of Victoria's Thomas Riva won the 1500 in 3:39.96.

I don't see many fully grown women looking like her.
good to see her starting to really run well again
Agreed, Fricker looked equally strong and composed in her running. Coach is doing something right with those two.

Me.
I have a month's sub, but when I try to sign in, I get a spinning circle by the "log on" words, and it keeps going forever!
This never happened before.
But their service is so messed up, I sent them a notice I want them to end my service, and to not automatically charge me for another month!
I can't believe how rank amateur their announcing (and their entire service) is!

Compared to the waifs that populate much of the female running world, she's got a definite power advantage. Plenty of grunt over 2-4 laps. Goes longer and hits the wall.

So..no one is going to mention this?

Her leg size has nothing to do with hitting the wall in longer distances. In longer distances, she is just misplacing herself. You cannot determine her "power advantage" by looking at her legs. There are plenty of people with smaller legs that are much faster and powerful than her? Just stop with this leg size stuff.
