Anybody found the youtube stream mentioned in the streaming info post? I don't see it on the IAAF Official or IAAF Magazine youtube pages.

Pretty low quality and jerky, but better than nothing. Broadcasting for the relays this year seems pretty bad, I remember a great youtube stream from the IAAF last year.

Not sure if Weldon made it there or not. Let's hope so. The World Relays peopel said a few weeks ago they'd pay to fly us in. They told him about 4 days ago they were no longer doing it - but would try next year. He had to scramble to get some flgihts/hotels.

I finally got my sling working on my new PC. The thing I noticed in the first 15 seconds was those flags blowing. Definitely looks like the windy forecast has become reality.

Weather.com is saying 9 mph right now but predicting 11 mph.

Anybody else notice David Verburg and others on the US 4X4 team racing in distance runner split shorts?

The story here is that Trayvon Bromell had a bet with a guy from TCU last year I think, and he raced in distance runner shorts....and he found out he liked them. So he races in distance shorts all the time now, including World Juniors last year. It looks like the whole thing is catching on quickly.

So the new uniform style is sprinters in short splits and distance runners in half tights?

I was pumped to see Wariner in a USA uniform. Is this the last time we see that?

But heading into the anchor. The US Had a huge lead. The African record holder was running for Botswana. He made up a huge gap on the US. Got within about 5 meters. But the Jamaican kid was WAY BACK - only first two auto quality - he nearly got all three and somehow ran down the African record holder.

Somoene find the splits. I gotta take the dog out to the bath room.

Jamaican anchor Javon Francis split a 44.01(!).

U.S. legs were 46.20 (Verburg), 45.96 (Clemons), 44.87 (Wariner), 45.78 (Spratling).

Botswana anchor Isaac Makwala was 45.20.

Usain Bolt time in the 4x100 prelims.

Looks like Wariner ran a 44.87 split, so at this time, I would say he IS back. The last split wasn't very good, but Spratling is clearly not going to be in the final.

I've got internet. Usain Bolt on the track. World Relays can officially begin!!!

Crow is raucous. They just showed Bolt on jumbotron and they roared.

Then showed Bahama's guy and they roared even more.

Sling okay for me here. Better quality than I thought.

Bolt and Jamaica easily advance to final. 38.08.

Hopefully the U.S. can get the stick around in heat 3 and we can get Bolt-Gatlin on anchor in the final.

VERY careful paasses by Jamaica. After the NINE Jamaicans pulled out of World Relays on 4/30 (that LRC doesn't want to talk about), it will be interesting if they get the stick around in the final when pressed by USA.

Fans chanted "2 - 4 - 2" before 4x100.
