She's watched videos of your races. Knows your strengths, and knows your great weakness. She'll exploit that knowledge against you at the state meet.

Jessy cat, she's another teenager with poor communication skills. She might know your times or heard about your racing style or watched a video or two of your races. She's just trying to intimidate you and probably does not know anything more about you more than that.

Or maybe she does, and that's a little creepy.

She might have meant it as a compliment, as in, "my coach has been telling me how great you are all year."

Just in case she meant that she knows your racing style and has a plan, it might not be a bad idea to switch it up. If you usually run hard from the gun, force her to take the lead and run on her shoulder until the last 200. Start your kick a little early or late. You get the picture.

You shook hands "or whatever", what does this mean?
