Ok well I'm a sophomore in HS, I ran XC/track freshman year, and just xc sophomore year.
The reason why I quit is because I have this knee problem that is very odd and I was very frustrated with it, and the head coach was being a real bitch about it. Basically the knee problem means that I can't run competitively, for now.
So I have to get physical therapy and when I tried to explain this to my coach he didn't care. So when I officially quit I really didn't care to explain the whole physical therapy deal to him, and he didn't care to know either. So I thought that I could never run in HS again but two days ago the assistant coach explained to me how I could run XC again and maybe even track. This was very uplifting.
So do you guys think that I should be allowed to run track again? and did the hs that you ran at have the policy of the ,''if you quit you're done for all of highschool.''
