Vigil recently has changed his philosophy to increase rest during interval workouts. My guess is it was 5-7 minutes rest between 1000s. Which is a lot more rest than most people get when running 6xk, so that's why the times seem so difficult. Still an impressive workout, but definitely not indicative of a sub 14:30 most athletes would expect with those splits.
why is it that with so many workouts we never know the rest period..??? that is a very important element and yet so many people just leave it out!!!!!!

Agree here - it boggles the mind why this important piece of information is so often left out.
As to her specific intensity. To many people think that a specific session has to be predictive of something - look at ALL the threads relating to what a "session/workout" is worth. Sometimes it is just about developing a a training stimulus (energy system to some degree) beyond what one has previously attained. People project too much from a session to a performance and where I think Daniels being followed so much (as another poster said) can be a dangerous thing. It is all about Reps and Intervals and Threshold as if these are all mutually exclusive - Jack did this to make it simple and palatable to the average joe, it isn`t always this simple, especially at her level.
Still not 800 meter specialist workout? What event is she shooting to make a worlds?
She said she took 330 rest for recovery in the comments.
Then she is training too hard.
