Weather better than decent. 44 degrees. A bit windy but overall will be at their side or backs most of the way.
women 5:22 first mile, Meb up front, see Brett Gotcher right there also. Huddle & Kipyego in big ladies pack
15:55 at W 3 mile. Last mile 5:13. Looks like Huddle & about 6 Kenyans breaking away.
Looks like Buzunesh Deba has been dropped. I also don't see Meb in the men's lead pack.
ESPN3 video, shaky at best, been stopped for couple minutes now.
Ritz needs to make a move NOW.
The ABC stream isn't terrible.
Meb, Ritz, & Teg hanging on to the back of lead pack of about 13. Sambu heading it up. Still Molly & the African ladies including Kipyego & Chepkirui
On a side note, why such an early start? Less impact on traffic etc?
Just curious
Unfortunately, I think Molly will pay for front-running on a windy day. On the other hand, Ritz, Meb, and Teg are all racing smartly. LOL at the announcers speculating whether a world record will be set.
Sambu made a move, Barrios 2 seconds back
Did Bumbalough drop?
5:06 last mile, 8 miles in. Huddle leading!! 3 Kenyans right there Top 4 favorites all together.
Molly has poor race strategy, like most Americans - if you can't win the race, win some early miles.
Sambu, April, Korir & Barrios. 4:30 last mile. 7 miles in. Your winner comes from this pack.
Any idea on how the American men are stacking up behind? Desi in the women's race?
WABC coverage is awful. They are showing every but running. Is the other live stream any better?
Women supposedly on course record pace?? Hard to believe. Huddle still doing all the work. Joyce Chepkirui looks like she is jogging on Huddle's shoulder starting to drop kipyego

The men are on high 61 pace (record is 58:23) and the women are on high 69 pace (record is 65:09) even if they don't know anything about running, they should know what the records are before talking about records and if they know what the records are simple math will tell them not today.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
