Won by 11 seconds. Nice.
On an unbanked 200m, right?
I still stick with my prediction that if he can run against the big boys (at the Prefontaine for example) he will hit 3:58. Not sure he has the wheels to ever be a top class miler but this bodes well for him as a hot shot in the 5k and 10k down the line. Better than Ritz ultimately, I hope.
I"ll stick with my prediction, 4:57, very doable.
I was in 3rd place today, just missing 2nd. He dropped us pretty easily but I'm still happy with my effort.

That would make you whom?
Oh, BTW - nice post!
Look up the results, geez already. That's why I don't post here often.

Could do that, naturally. OF course it would be simpler to just ask.
Sheesh, that's why I don't bother reading these boards very often.
Which is why high school runners like me don't post here very often. I read the results on the main page or I get them off of a Michigan running site.
You don't list your name, anonymous, but you're asking me mine??? It's right in the results. I was on here as an 8th grader and it's only gotten worse in the last 4 years. No accountability.

I looked up the results. They don't seem to be posted yet (at least not where/when I looked).
My name if Bruce Egeland.
Oh, and if you are offended that someone is asking your name after posting that your name is publicly available off of the results list - well, let's just say that high school kids often deserve their reputation for not thinking very clearly.
Congrats with 3rd, Bruce.
Minor detail:
Grant's last name is spelled Fisher.
Major detail/s:
That is a great solo effort by Grant. He keeps improving, stays healthy, and has fun.
Hi Bruce.
Re-read my first post and you'll see that YOU weren't thinking very clearly:), a reputation that you seemingly deserve:)
I was in 3rd, but I never said what race it was in (re-read it).
I also was happy with my effort.
My post read that he pulled away from us very easily, but I never said Grant did (possibly 3200????, who knows:)).
This is what you old folks get for ruining what was a good site in the beginning, not the work of the typical high school runner.
Take care:):):)

This post is beyond idiotic, and a great example of why high schoolers should not be allowed to post on here.
Why would you post something that makes it appear to be from the 3rd place finisher from Grant's race? This exchange confuses me!

This post is detracting as do so many.
Great run for the high school kid that was third and posted.
You experienced something very few ever have the opportunity to do. That is... Being in a record setting race and on the podium - congrats!
Lucus Arrivio was second - well done!
Grant Fisher ran amazingly well - on his own!
Many other great results from this years Michigan indoor championships.
Thank goodness for the next generation.
I'm not posting my name on here either but whoever this high schooler is he's a jerk and I'm glad he lost.

Hmmm, do you what happens when you ask a teenager NOT to do something?

Yes, flat non banked 200m indoor track at Easterm Michigan University.
Packed venue, lots of energy.
Any other results
Wetzel?
Brazier?
