I don't know that you can make a "guilt by association" cry in regards to Farah must be dirty because he did a workout with a dirty runner. However, I do have to question why Farah would blatantly lie? Just say you didn't know the kid was dirty. It's not people are claiming Mo gave him his own stash. Yet.

This is likely the real Farah you are seeing. He thinks a lie is better than the truth. Guilty, or not, Farah is mister perfect by a long shot.

Farah's wife should keep a close on him, she may not like what she sees, but then again she may fine with what Farah does when he is away from home.

I thought it was suspicious in the first place that Farah was in Ethiopia training all of a sudden when in the past he's always gone to Kenya. I figured it had to do with the fact that they're actually getting testing in Kenya now.

Farrah was a mediocre 13:10 5000M runner from 06-09. 4 years he was the same, basically also ran in the major meets. Then 1 year later he became a world beater practically overnight. This simply does not happen when you turn 26-27 years old. This is of course not hard evidence but this was a guy who was getting wiped by the likes of Tegenkamp to all of a sudden become the worlds greatest??? Yeah right!

Ricky Simms, Farah’s agent, confirmed to The Daily Telegraph that “Mo was in Ethiopia by himself,” “He hired some local athletes to pace for him during his workouts and he wasn’t part of any other training group. It’s not unusual for people to jump in. He has not got any association with any other athletes that may be out there.”

Yet Abdi has given an interview to Toni Reavis recently suggesting otherwise:

One thing is for sure, He trained at least twice with Hamza Driouch in January Monday the 20th and the following week a Thursday the 29th.

It's hard to do two workouts in two weeks with somebody who seems to keep up with you and not wonder who this guy might be. Especially, when they are the only ''light skin'' on the track. Unless you already know who they are.

To be fair in 2009 he ran under 3:34 for a pr and a NR of 7:34. His best runs were in those events in 2009 before his 2010 5k breakthrough.

I agree lying about his training with Driouch would be/is ridiculous. And potentially extremely damaging. It's also unsurprising, given the UK media, and the world of sports agents, etc. What it is not is proof of doping.

Yep, I'd say it's looking pretty bad for Farah.

Consider this: If Farah is caught and has his Olympic golds stripped from him, Galen Rupp becomes an Olympic Gold Medalist (albeit under MASSIVE suspicion), Lagat gets a bronze--at age 37, and, perhaps most significantly, Kenenisa Bekele will have medalled in 3 straight Olympics.

Greg Rutherford has been VERY critical of dopers. I wonder if anyone has asked him if Farah passes his smell-test???

I can't imagine going on a run and not knowing who I am running with, especially a 19 year old athlete with a 3:50x mile PR. I would like to assume after finding out one his former training partners was doping, to disassociate himself, Mo choose to deny training with this athlete.
