I posted on here a while back looking for advice on improving a 400 time as a casual and infrequent runner. Went to watch my son's meet last night. It was cold and windy (about 36F). Somehow these kids are able to just hang out in the cold wind in very little clothing and talk with their friends between races. 400m rolls around and an 8th grade boy (not my kid) who has been freezing for hours, rolls up and runs a 56. I couldn't believe it, is that a crazy fast time?
