I wouldn't say Pat = Ed. Look at how many they got to the meet and how many are coming back.
The men have junior Walker (3rd in the 800), junior Horrocks (16th in the 1500), sophomore McMillan (16th in the 10K) and freshman Linkletter (19th in the 5K). The only NCAA qualifier not returning for the men is senior Fletcher (13 in steeple). The women have Junior Collinsworth (3rd in 800) returning next year.
That doesn't seem = to me.
Anyone know what Walker decided on whether or not to go pro? And what is Shea Collinsworth doing? I would assume she won't be back next year either with her husband probably going over to Europe to play ball.

I was actually just talking to some people about this topic at the Utah high school state meet today. In talking to people that are close to the program it seems as though things are about to come to an end for Patrick Shane. The people that were brought up as potential replacements for him were his son Chris who is at Eastern Washington, Isaac Wood who is at Weber State, Ryan Wait who is the director of operations at BYU, and Corbin Tally who is the Davis High School coach. Some of my friends think that Eyestone is going to take over the womens team as well and then get an assistant to help with both groups. This could be something to keep our eye on over the summer

It was a dark horse; Diljeet Taylor.First off, Coach Taylor was a great hire and it is obvious she is doing great things with the program. Their win at Virginia showed that there has been an immediate improvement with her in charge. Next, it's funny to realize the ramifications of the hire, especially for a couple of the candidates that were listed in this thread. Looks like Ryan Waote couldn't handle working with someone who got hired over him so he left the director of ops position and took the first coaching job he could get, no matter how crappy. Isaac Wood didn't actually care what job it was he just wanted to get back to BYU so he could chum around with Eyestone. Corbin Tally is still a high school coach. Maybe he should have accepted the jobs at Utah State and Idaho Stte when they were offered. Looks like Ryestone had no interest in bringing in the son of the coach that let the program slip so he's still at EWU. But the hire set the Waite/Wood chain in motion. I wonder who Weber will go with now. Their recruiting is definitely going to slip back to what it used to be.
