What do you all think about this? I don't know enough about DHEA to know how common of a thing it is to be prescribed for a 51-year-old, but one person wrote that she likely wouldn't get a TUE for it even if she had asked beforehand.
Now, I know that there are masters runners who ask their doctor to prescribe stuff like testosterone for a competition advantage, but there are also those who actually need it. She could just be playing dumb, but she seems genuine and it doesn't look like she's chasing big races and prize money on the master/ultra scene (not that there is much to chase or I would really know what kind of times are good for a 51-year-old ultra/trail runner).
Anyway, just imagine being a competitive recreational runner doing trail and ultra races and all of a sudden having USADA up your butt telling you that you can't race for a year. Her reaction in QOD today says it all. It's kind of funny.
