I don't think you know what you are asking. The USOC wants "the people" to have less voice in the organization. They have no problem with the Board overturning a vote of the people. The USOC sent two reps to the Annual Meeting and made it clear in L&L that they were prepared to reduce funding to USATF if we did not make the bylaw changes they wanted.
And we did not make all of the bylaw changes they wanted...
Exactly why the membership needs to be heard. Just sitting there and taking it? Nope.
The USOC has a new ombudsman. She should at least answer to usatf's shenanigans.

What really needs to happen is the USOC needs to decertify USATF (which would solve the 25 year Nike bullshit contract) and name USTFCCA as the NGB for the sport.
Give the sport back to the coaches who work with the athletes and have the facilities. Time to change!
