My GP asked me this same question as part of a routine physical/check-up. I assumed it had something to do with my prostate, although he had already checked that (please refrain from the obvious joke, frat-boy). I am 43, in good health, and I rarely wake up to pee, although if I do wake up it's around 5am and I don't go back to sleep. I'm not sure if waking to pee is indicative of anything more than waking to pee. Is there an MD available to weigh in?
47 - usually dont need to go at all, at most once, unless I am intentionally trying to be fully hydrated for some activity the next morning.
I get up once a night around 3:30 am but always go back to sleep ok.
If I take an Advil before bedtime, I will sleep through the night. Don't know
why that works. I'm 71
Hardly ever. I'm 47. More likely if I've been drinking booze.
A dozen times or more

Men forty and older: How many times do you urinate between going to bed and finally getting out of bed in the morning? (I'm assuming you are not a shift worker or the like or nocturnal.)
When I was in my late 50's I was whizzing two/three times per night. Now, in mid 60's it's once per night (around 5 hours in) and then again upon awakening. Generally, I sleep for 10 to 11 hours.

That's why they get the big bucks.
The depends joke was obvious.
66. If I take my saw palmetto and stinging nettle root during the day like i should, then I never have to get up. If i don't remember to take them, then I need to get up at least once per night.
