The Stone Cutter-Sorry to hear about the migraine--hopefully that doesnt turn into a recurring issue for you. You definitely crushed the Friday and Sunday workouts. No reason to be ultra afraid--maybe you are training in your sweet spot for a nice balance of quality workouts and mileage. Looking great entering the final month of your race. And of course I know you were only joshing with your comments. I am not disappointed at all in my time just could have used those 33 seconds to get the warming tent next year in NYC:)
Pikachu-Congrats on the 7 days of running and impressive job on back to back progressions a day apart.
StevenJ-I like the term minuteage! Impressive that you can hold a conversation at those Friday paces--I definitely know I couldnt.
pewow-Congrats on hitting your 8k goal, way to race yesterday!
NP1112-thanks again and at this point I wouldnt push anything in your training so it was smart to pull back. Try to stay sane this week with the reduced running and racing coming up. If your race was anywhere close to me I'd consider coming out to pace you for a few miles. Good luck next Saturday!
Netwerk Errer-Thanks man--although it sucks missing some runs at this point in your cycle it's about getting (or staying healthy). Trust your training and good luck next weekend!
RunnersFix-Gotta love some 10:xx 2 mile intervals to "get the legs going":)
Hereford-Very solid week including that long run Saturday with a lot of mileage near MP.
Slartzio-your strategy seems to be working for you! Any races coming up?
KBXC-as you said, a bump in the road to bigger things. You were sick and run down heading into the race so not much you should expect anyway.
HS_Runner_XC-Although the result wasnt what you were looking for, way to run through the cramps and help your team pull out the W!
renewed marathoner-I think farm work is a first for the RRTT board. Nice tempo run on Tuesday as well.
Distance Fan-congrats on the 10k. Those are two hard efforts this weekend, be sure to get some rest over these next two weeks in your taper!
Nop200-Awesome job on the race and looks like you are ready for a sub 17:30!
GarbageDisposal-Great job on the top 10 finish at the RnR half. I assume you have credentials to get in for free to all the RnR events?
Forcerunner-Sorry we didnt get a chance to meet up. I meant to find you on Facebook Friday to shoot you a message and then completely forgot. Great job on the race yesterday and congrats on going sub 70--huge accomplishment!
reed-enjoyed reading the race report, thanks for posting. What a race
xenonscreams-a great result in the race given how you were feeling but sounds like you definitely need to take some downtime and rest! I think you've built up the fitness to allow for a few days off to recover!
Ghola-I second Herefords comments that you earned some downtime and hopefully you enjoyed it!
Kendo-I like your plan for the race, get the rest and hydration you need this week and you'll race well next weekend!
Reg Fields-I remember that lake from the full marathon a few years back. Still a solid time and looks like you are setting up nicely for a sub 3 next month
