1) The debut of Dejen at 13.1
2) THe first race of 2014 for Kara G.
3) The masters world record attempt by Deena.

Has Deena beaten Kara in the last 5 years. No way that happens. They'll both be 70+ minutes.
Gebremeskel won't do that well in his debut. He's more of a 5k guy.
Karoki wins it.
Just got out to Philly today. Weather is perfect. Even with some of the top elites bailing it's still going to be a super fast race. Sub 59 is definitely possible if they pace correctly.

I hope Gebremeskel doesn't become a full time road runner like so many just for the money. He's too young for that. Didn't race at all on the track this year to my knowledge.

He raced in the 5k once this season. He didn't run that well, though.
Is there anyway to watch this tomorrow? No Brojos, I will not drive to Philly.

according to the R AND R website, Deena ran 1:09:36, new Masters world record, awesome for a less than ideal day, she went out in 16:08, last 5 km in 16:55.

Why is he to young to do road running? Age has nothing to do with it. All of the best competition in distance running is on the roads these days.
