Hey Guys,
I don't mean to be arrogant, but I am a pretty good runner and I have won a few high school meets.
Unfortunately, I have been banned for the season for fighting another team-mate mid-race. The other guy started it and blocked me off, so I proceeded to have a brain fade and knock him in the head, he suffered slight concussions from the hit and did have to go to hospital.
After this hit, the race was called off as other athletes all decided to confront me mid race, this is like nothing I have ever experienced.
I am from Australia.
This was a brain fade like no other I've ever had, and I would like to know if this incident would affect my chances of a division one scholarship?
My times are as follows:
800m: 2:15
1500: 4:27
3000: 9:48
5000: 17:33
Thanks very much guys
Those are decent times... some LR'ers have unrealistic expectations, thinking a 17 min 5k is nothing. Taking into perspective how many HSers cant break 18 min, its decent.
But not enough for D1 at all. You're talking about teams with runners under 16 min 5k or less. Also there's the training... are you mentally prepared to run 80mpw for 4 years straight?
Just go D3.... be a big fish in a small pond, not a shrimp in the Pacific Ocean.
