What a jerk you are, POTO. Why do you even bother posting? Everyone hates you.
Thanks little man! Coming from you I'll take that as a compliment.
Guess it must be tough to be called out when you are shoveling horse shit, huh? Perhaps it especially bothers you since you are the largest purveyor of horse shit on this site (well, maybe your alter ego, K5 is right up there with you).
There is a certain context you are missing. Those who were "formerly allied with Moscow" had not done so by choice, but as a result of a dependence created by the constructs of the Soviet Union. The Russians are responsible for a largely unrecognized genocide- gulags saw many more prisoners than the concentration camps, though over a much greater period of time. Every former soviet state would turn on Russia in a heartbeat if put in the circumstances to do so. However, there are large groups of ethnic Russian in these countries, who now find themselves on the other side of the ball. They were sent there to assimilate/"russify" these countries into the USSR, but now a large portion of them refuse to assimilate into (or leave) these countries- even when given ample opportunity to do so. They make demands in these countries with the mentality and expectations of 25+ years ago. Now, ignited by the ethnic Russians (and Russia itself), political and economic instability in Ukraine has given Putin an excuse to invade because his people are in "danger." Historically we've seen that when the dominos start to fall, it can very easily become a much bigger conflict. This is why we must protect the independence in countries where this type of conflict is possible- where there are large groups of ethnic Russians.
On another note, the Russian reform to control media and personal freedoms is terrifying. When you can control the perception of your people so fully, only bad things have happened. I am genuinely afraid for the Russian people. There has also been a brain drain starting even prior to the Ukrainian conflict- a large movement of Russians, mostly well-educated/affluent fleeing the country. This is polarizing Russia to an even greater extent, as much of the opposition to Putin is leaving the country.
Western propaganda is so tiresome and monotonous. You'd think they'd have learned from the likes of Edward Snowden, Julian Assange and Bradley Manning not to blindly trust the same regimes that repeatedly lie to them.

specifically what lies?
in this case, I mean
agip, you are a moron.
I am not trying call names but you are one of these this Czech newspaper (you know from a country you claim we have better relations with since Obama took office) speaks about.
CZECH REPUBLIC OBSERVER
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting an inexperienced man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama Presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their President. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America .
Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President."
gee, europeans calling americans fools and idiots! never heard that one before!
well, except for the previous 238 years of this country's existence.

I doubt any of you even knows anything about Russia or Ukraine. Certainly none of you knew anything before it was in the news.
Don't most of them eat potatoes and stay drunk all the time?
agip, Obama was told a year ago that ISIS was a major threat. He claims that recently ISIS came to be formed.
His lie that there was no corruption with the IRS. A lie.
Claims that Obamacare would not be grnted to illegals. A lie.
If you like your health care, you can keep. A lie.
The ACA plan would lower healthcare by $2500 a year.
Claiming islam has been celebrated at the White House since Thomas Jefferson. A lie.
Transparency? A lie.
Bengazhi? All lies.
He would be a uniter? A lie.
you're a zealot
I try to only argue with zealots when when debatable facts are present - facts that can be proven one way or the other.
Your list is a bunch of half truths/half lies that will never break one way or the other - just sort of wander around aimlessly.
They are not really debatable.
Feel free to try again tho.
Ciao
binks, while virtually nothing you ever say is true, I'll respond anyway. Care to defend your 'eisenhower death camps' claim? (quote)
Eisenhower’s biographer Stephen Ambrose, who was given access to the Eisenhower personal letters, stated that he proposed to exterminate the entire German General Staff, thousands of people, after the war.
Eisenhower, in his personal letters, did not merely hate the Nazi Regime, and the few who imposed its will down from the top - but that HE HATED THE GERMAN PEOPLE AS A RACE.
It was his personal intent to destroy as many of them as he could, and one way was to wipe out as many prisoners of war as possible.
If one examines his orders one month before the end of the war, there it is in black and white:
"Prison enclosures are to provide no shelter or other comforts."
Of course, that was illegal under International law, so he issued an order on March 10, 1945 and verified by his initials on a cable of that date, that German Prisoners of War be predesignated as "Disarmed Enemy Forces" called in these reports as DEF.
He ordered that these Germans did not fall under the Geneva Rules, and were not to be fed or given any water or medical attention.
The Swiss Red Cross was not to inspect the camps, for under the DEF classification, they had no such authority or jurisdiction.
Incidentally, if you want to read what really happened in German concentration camps before the hundreds of billions of dollar ‘holocaust’ industry got to work on it, there is one survey of the Jewish question in Europe during World War Two and the conditions of Germany's concentration camps which is almost unique in its honesty and objectivity - the three-volume Report of the International Committee of the Red Cross on its Activities during the Second World War, Geneva, 1948.
Worth reading.
As for your other waffling about who starts wars, with an industrial/military complex that spends more on its war machine than the next ten biggest spending nations combined - those outside the USA on the receiving end know full well who starts conflicts worldwide.
Yeah I read that article too. Mot of the facts stated are unfounded, and the links just bring you to another article stating the same claims. As to the percentages of women and children or working civilians killed in our attacks. It is estimated that 85-90% of the casualties in any war are civilians. But to put that entire number on the U.S. is really reaching.
How many of the 201 armed conflicts that we "Started" were reactionary to stop genocide or to back an allie?
You are clearly unaware that of the 248 armed conflicts after WW2, the US has started 201 of them, (81%) with an estimated death toll of 30 million, 90% of them, women and children, the elderly and ordinary working civilians women and children.
That’s why, in an international poll taken by Win/Gallup in 2013,the USA was voted by far and away, the greatest threat to world peace.
As for Putin, from the moment the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, the United States has relentlessly pursued a strategy of encircling Russia, just as it has with other perceived enemies like China and Iran.
It brought 12 countries in central Europe, all of them formerly allied with Moscow, into the NATO alliance so that US military power was now directly on Russia’s borders.
And then Yanks wonder why Russians act to protect their own vital interests.[/quote]
