Parvenah has inspired me and taught me that we can all be World Record holders. I am going to setup my own marathon and be RD. I cannot afford a chip time system for this race but PM does not use a timing system for her races. Everyone will tell me what time they ran at the end and that will be their official time.
I feel I will be in 1.59 shape on raceday and my tactic will be to run the first half in 1.15 and negative split to finish in 1.59. This should be ok as PM is the Guinness World Record holder using this same method as RD of the races she runs for her records. I don't mind if the IAAF don't recognise this record but with the precedent PM has set in GWR. Guinness should have to accept my record as the first person to run a sub-2 marathon. I feel I can eventually get the record down to 10 seconds with a crafty race strategy.
