Sports Trainer for Baseball Star Bonds Accuses Him of Taking Steroids

The personal trainer of Major League Baseball star Barry Bonds has been quoted as saying the home run slugger has used performance-enhancing drugs. According to an article published in Saturday\'s San Francisco Chronicle, trainer Greg Anderson provided Bonds with steroids that could be taken the day of a test and still not be detected.
Anderson is a defendant in the BALCO steroids conspiracy case. He claimed in a recorded conversation last year that Bonds used an undetectable drug during the 2003 season.
Bonds, who has frequently denied using steroids, hit .362 with 45 home runs and 101 runs batted in for the Giants this season. He now has 703 career home runs, 11 behind second place Babe Ruth on the all-time list.
