He could be using roids
However he ran 19.9 in the 200 at 17.

If it is the case that Bolt is cheating for sure it should come out, although I find it sad that so many people feel as if he *must* be on drugs. Talent exists otherwise there would not be much point in watching track and field (or any sport for that matter). I am a fairly skeptical person given the history of cheating in our sport , however I still have a place in my heart for the beauty of supreme achievement and the ability to trust until proven otherwise, without which I can't really imagine getting out of bed in the morning. Many of us need to trust (until proven otherwise); others must hate, and I guess that is what drives them. Good luck with that.
Lance had a witch hunt after him for years. Nobody is going after Bolt.
Many high profile people said publicly they were 100% sure Lance was doped up.
All you hear about Bolt is "oh he's just so fast he must be on something". And you don't hear this from any coaches or athletes or journalists. At least not publicly.
I think it's dumb for any of us to hope that he gets busted. You would literally destroy the sport in the face of the public. Why would any of us hope that Track & Field's biggest star gets caught doping? To do so is to hope the sport remains unpopular.
Exactly. Lance used to brag about doping. It had the desired effect of making his rivals take him even more seriously.
We all knew LA was doping.
Evidence against Bolt? He's fast, that't all. He's always been fast. He got even faster soon after he realized he had to train hard.
I am going on the record and say Usain Bolt 'will never test positive'. The operative would is 'test positive'. I am not sure if he has ever doped because I felt as far back as 2002 he was going to be great. Although, I was pretty sure it would be in the 200/400, his 9.58 is hard to wrap my head around. (This performance is on par with Paula's 2:15 marathon.) Bolt always had incredible top end speed and the ability to maintain that speed, but at 6' 5", Bolt's start and drive phase defies physics. If Bolt ever doped, he probably stopped a couple of years ago when JAA was forced to setup an accredited AD program.
Again I will go on the record..."excluding VCB's recent 10.8 with 2.0 wind, no Jamaican athlete born prior to 1989 will ever come with in 10% of their PP. This includes:
Bolt
Blake
Powell
Carter
Frater
Gonzales
SAFP
Stewart
Williams
Walker
Spenser
Campbell
Etc.

And kids don't do drugs, right?
All you people who point to junior performances as "clean" are mind-bogglingly naive.
If he'd run 21.5 at 17, maybe that would have been clean.
