Hey guys! I'm new here. My name is James and I'm twenty years old from London.
When I was younger I used to run 800m for school. I received no training for it; it was pretty much a case of the sports teachers telling me a race was set to happen and me running it the next day.
Anyway, that aside, I ran my last time at sixteen years old. I got a time of 1:57 which I think I could improve on if I got to my fitness then and then surpassed that.
I ran the 800m today, four years on, to see where I was. And by god it was worse than expected. I posted a 2:31 time which is so frustrating.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to how I can best get my fitness up and at first get to my sub 2-min time.
I did a 1500m thirty minutes after my 800m today and clocked in even worse at 6:41.
Please help if you can! :)
