I have been a Chris Solinsky longer than most but even I have to admit it after the recent race in Beligum. Chris Solinsky is done. He has not run this slow since off meets his junior year in high school when those times were still considered "good".

He might continue to run and attempt the marathon but realistically we can only expect a 2:12-2:16 at best. This is still much faster than what I'll ever achieve in my lifetime and yes, still a very competitive time overall but nothing worldly compared to his 5000 and 10000 meter bests. Chris had one of the premier seasons ever for an American runner in 2010. He'll never be forgotten but we'll never see the same Chris Solinsky ever again. I'm shaking my head... he's DONE!
RIP Chris' running career.
