Has anyone any experience of racing with DOMS????
I have an 800m on Friday but am feeling the effects of some 80m accelerations I did yesterday - the fastest thing I've done this year.
Hopefully, it will have subsided in the next 36 hours but, if it doesn't, how big an impact will it have on my race?
Ideally, I would skip it and wait for the next meet but this is a paced race on a new track, so probably the best chance of running a good time this year.
Anyone any positive experiences of running 800m with sore muscles that they'd like to share?
