What part of no one can be forced to sell their own property against their will and Sterling is going to win in court do you not understand?

And, do you realize that Ballmer has made enough money on his MS stock in the last year, alone, to buy the Clippers cash, and to pay for LeBron and any luxury tax?
"Another NBA official said that Steve Ballmer, who has agreed to pay $2 billion to buy the Clippers from Donald and Shelly Sterling in a deal that isn’t official yet, would be willing to “pay the luxury tax” if he was able to acquire James or Anthony."

Lebron would make the most $ by resigning with MIA. In this last year his NBA earnings were probably 1/5 of his total. He will be 30 years old in December...he is beginning to see the writing on the wall. His legacy can only ascend from here, and he's taking it into his hands. I applaud it.
That didn't work with the Lakers and Dwight Howard. It won't work with LeBron and Miami, because Wade's star has burned out. LeBron will go to where younger top-end talent stars are. That way he has a chance for another championship as he gets older, and he can reduce his minutes, and physical wear and tear. Long Years = More Money.

What you fail ti grasp is, the Clippers will be sold. Sterling will sue the NBA anyway, and win some more money. Sterling is not about keeping the Clippers. He is about making the NBA suffer.

Nope. He's suing to keep control of the team. Then he can do what he wants. Keep it or sell it.
Nope. Wrong. Sell for $2B, get $1B. Sue for $1B. Watch Silver squirm and suffer. Sterling never attends another Clipper's game, dies with a smile, and never spends a dime of the money the team is sold for.

OOPS! It looks like none of you know what you're talking about. Lebron is likely to stay with the Heat (ask the bookies), and if anything, he'll be taking a pay CUT from his already below market value contract in order to give the team some salary space.
Talk about someone who doesn't know what he's talking about....
One does not become a free agent as part of a plan to resign with the same team at a discount.
Wrong. That is EXACTLY what he is going to do. Lebron made around $70 million last year in endorsements and salary combined. His salary accounted for $19 million of that, his endorsements accounted for over $50 million. Taking a few million pay cut from his salary is a drop in the bucket compared to what he could make if the Heat are able to reload and win more titles. Expect Wade and Bosh to do the same.

+1 followed by a -1.
He's opting out so that IF he signs with the Heat, he can take a lower salary and give them the flexibility to add parts around him. Lebron isn't worried about a $5 million a year difference at this point, he wants to win championships.

They're what, 2-2 in the Big Three era? If they get to the next 12 NBA Finals he could still be right.
It's in Wade's hands. Wade is not and will not be the player he once was. If he insists on getting paid the 20mil or so a year he is owed than James would be smart to sign elsewhere.
When is the Decision 2 going to be on ESPN? MAybe he needs some time to collude with other free agents like he did the first time. He's really in a lose-lose situation. IF he stays in Miami, they are too old and won't have enough money to sign free agents. If he colludes gets 2 other guys to go to another team, his legacy will be he couldn't do it on his own.
LeBron will drag this out as long as ESPN is willing to pay him to make "The Decision v2." LeBron makes a ton of money. ESPN makes a ton of money. LeBron then goes wherever he may choose. Miami is only the big two: Wade is done. LeBron would be smart to go to a big market team with young top stars.
Chicago and the Clippers would be good landing choices, along as they don't gut the teams for LeBron. To get LeBron, New York needs to keep Melo, and figure out how get to young top star to join up--seems difficult. The Lakers would need stars to come over, besides LeBron, which is unlikely. Kobe is more likely to play the next two years like Wade--a shadow of their former selves.
LeBron will be playing for Miami next year
In a better world, no one would care where this self absorbed phony is taking his talents and "his" fans.
Root for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back.
The league and it's media arm, ESPN, force feed us the individual. Teams don't sell us sprite and cell phones. The spectacular is deemed success.
The clueless eat it up.

Nope. Miami is a shell of its former self.
Ballmer DOES NOT OWN THE TEAM, stupid. He was already approved by the league and has the cash. But he does not own the team. Why? Because STERLING HAS NOT SOLD THE TEAM.

Quoted just to show the boards how not only racist, but how damn stupid can a person can get. You play the best athletes for the sport that you can find, regardless of race.
Hook.

MotherFvcking Sinker.
Now that what you said and apply it to everything else in this world. Schools, companies, etc.
My bet is LeBron stays for less money. Opting out doesn't mean he's necessarily leaving
