No please don't. Just keep calling people idiots for stating that they believe the overwhelming favorite might win nationals. And this comes from a Western grad.

USI Kawwwwwwwwww
Cool, I used to think Santa was real.
How have you not heard of them? They have over 60k followers on twitter! Oregon only has 10k followers. You have heard of Oregon Track and Field Correct?
I could honestly see the top 3 being Adams State, GV, and Southern Indiana in no particular order. It's a toss up. Adams has their front runners who will come through like always, GV only lost a couple runners, still brought back a handful of Cross and 5k All-Americans plus got some Adams transfers, and Southern Indiana will put Pence and Guy towards the front of the pack. Alaska Anchorage dark horse maybe even squeaking into the top 3 if one of the aforementioned teams has a bad day.
Word on the RMAC rumor mill is a 7:48 German has made the move to Colorado. Philipp Pfiliger had a great European season and I expect he is moving to a high altitude environment to take it to the next level. Should be interesting to see how Batt and him compete at RMACs this year.
What about Augustana in South Dakota? They have been top five for the past few years now and are still looking strong. After coming off of last years 3rd place they have to be in the conversation.
Agreed. Augustana is always up there. How's their roster look this season? Any early season results to share?
These posts aren't coming from Stonehill but from another team in the Northeast 10.
D2 Northeast is a joke besides AIC and Stonehill, kill this thread.
Yes, the mighty Stonehill College, perennial 28th-30th place finishers at nationals! Total powerhouse! You got to respect their ability to always roll gutter balls at nationals. They've earned the right to anonymously talk trash about every other team in the country!!!!!!
Alaska Anchorage has been underrated every year by the coaches poll. This team has an uncanny ability to be clutch at big races, and with a finishing sweep of at least 1-7 in the first three races of the year the team is looking very deep. Definitely its deepest ever. There is a reason why Flotrack has them ranked 3rd in the nation.
Agree with post above me
Where was this grand valley depth at griak? Was that their best squad? That's not going to cut it for a national title. Of course, nationals is ages away but for now nobody should be saying they can beat adams. Lets see how paul short goes for adams next weekend.
Well, Selner and Luterbach were listed as not finishing. Bradley not in the results that I saw. But they still had 4 runners 10-15 sec back of Peterson and finished just behind D1 nationally ranked North Carolina. Wait, what were saying about depth? And yes, Adams is the clear favorite.
I am a GVSU fan but that was a very concerning showing today.....
Grand Valley did not look good, but they will bounce back if their dropouts finish, which they will in all other races I would imagine. Interested to see Adams at Paul Short.
Actually they are generally overrated. If there's snow on the ground they are usually in massive amounts of trouble.
They might very well be the third best team in the country but I doubt they actually finish third.
Adams 1-2-3-4 looked decent at Paul Short. But their 5?!?! They could have 4 guys top 25 at nationals and finish 2nd, maybe even 3rd if they didn't find a 5 guy or he didn't improve. Being Adams State I bet they will, but who knows? GV and Southern Indiana have to like those results.
I predict this is the year GV takes it over ASU
