I don't think he will, but it's time and I'd love to see it.
I hope Makhloufi gets beaten by Haney.
Whats his splits
He will run 3:49.5 and get nipped at the line by WILL LEER
A mile world record on American soil.

What is it with you and Will Leer? Leer is a perfectly good runner but he's borderline to even be in the "A" heat - there are some very good runners in the "B" heat - and I can't see any scenario in which he wins or breaks 3:50.
Yes, he ran 3:52.xx indoors this year, but Rupp ran 3:50.xx indoors last year and no one would have seen Rupp as a favorite in an outdoor mile against this kind of field, so what makes you think so highly of Leer's chances this year?
It's the 'stache, isn't it? You're counting on Kiprop laughing so hard when he sees the 'stache that he won't have his usual finishing speed, right?

No Way! The Bowerman Mile is funny. Never a perfect nor anything close to it. Another 3:49 win

oh shut up. the chances of him running it are slim and you don'y look smart even if he did it. what's with younger people and making stupid guarantees? you don't get that you lose stock for saying dumb things?

His Wikipedia page says he's 5'9" .. yet according to the video below, he's only 5'7", freak likes a tiger and he stomps like a giant.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lo023tyd7R0#t=39The biggest problem with the Bowerman mile for really fast times, is the high number of really good athletes. When there are 15 guys sprinting off the line to get into good position, the top athletes on the outside have to run 3-10m extra on the first curb to get around everyone. The first 200m ends up being 26-27s, and then the rabbits have to slow down to hit their appointed split for 400m. So hard after this to then pick up the pace, and the second lap ends up being too slow.
They need to set up mile races with only 4-5 good guys, and the rest being also rans, who never challenge the first 200m. that way the leaders can cruise off the line and run even 28/28 for a 56 first lap.

Err, dunno if you noticed, but most people here post anonymously using multiple handles and most don't indicate their age either. Just sayin'.
No record, because he is one ugly motherf-cker!
Kiprop 3:47.48

Will Leer FTDFL in 3:56.72, which would have gotten him 10th in the B heat. Again, I ask, what makes you such a Will Leer fan?
p.s. perhaps the wind on the back stretch was particularly hard on him what with all that facial hair?
Id be shocked to see anyone run under 3:47
