I watched it on my MacBook Pro. The stream was ok, not perfect. I'm traveling in Colorado now and will watch the Shanghai meet from a faster connection.

Dishworld is a the only way to go if you don't have a home cable subscription to Universal Sports. Because I travel so much and practically live out of hotels, the internet only option is golden for me. And--- I might add, a steal at ten bucks a month.

If I could say one thing to the young guns on the message board: try to support running, runners, people, and their efforts. Quit trying to tear down everyone. Fair criticism is welcome but don't reinforce the-know-it-all-running geek stereotype

Worked perfectly for me last time and was high quality. I'll definitely keep paying for it.

I just watched the La Liga - Atletico Barcelona match on demand on BeIN Sport on Dish World.

It worked great. The on demand service was flawless. The stream was very good on my ipad.

I then switched over to Universal Sports to see what it is like and there is some swimming on live now. The stream isn't as good as BeIN Sports. I real quickly found the Doha Diamond League meet and watched the end of the 1500m again.

One thing I noticed with a much more limited time on Universal is it said my stream was 2 MB/s. When I was on BeIN Sport (the soccer channel) it said 3.6 MB/s. Fishing around the Dish World site I see that BeIN streams HD while Universal doesn't. See this:

Universal might be maxed out at 2 MB/s but I'll try and find out. If you want to see a great soccer match get the free 48 hour preview (no CC required). Watch the soccer and Diamond League tomorrow and see if you like it.

Just wanted to put in the good world for the Dish World app. I downloaded it after seeing it mentioned on LRC, and it's been a great way to watch DL meets. Great to have an affordable option to watch, that doesn't force us to sign up for a new cable provider.

It's not working out so great for me. I watched the last meet, kind of a crappy video but viewable, but today I am getting nothing but a blank screen.

Just signed up for the Dish Trial. Lausanne coverage just started. Working great so far!

I had problems watching the one event (listed above) but since then it has worked fine. The quality of the picture could be better but it beats looking around online and wading through ads etc. everytime I want to watch a track meet.
