Kenya's 1st lady clocks 7 hours 4 minutes in London - Could Michelle Obama beat her?

Dude you obviously missed the Point! she was running to raise money and awareness for mother and Baby health issues in her home country. she inspired the globe not because of her running but because of deciding to run a marathon yet she started running (not training) about 6 months ago. how many dignitaries would do that? so grow up and stop hating. She accomplished her goal and you only managed to show your ignorance

I've walked the marathon distance (on multiple occasions) in less that five hours. Someone who takes another two hours to cover 42.195km is not running!

Sounds like she was participating for a worthy cause--again, props to her--but let's not confuse things by calling her activity "running."

Wow! Your are joking right...or did you just make that crap up from out of nowhere and really expect people to believe it?

You must be a trained race walker becasue I know quite a few people who ran the entire marathon and barely got under five hours.

A lot of people don't know walking speed. I remember being a kid and my dad telling me, "A human walks a mile between 3 and 4 mph." So it takes 15 minutes walking very fast and 20 minutes at a normal pace.

So you could talk a marathon in 6:35 if you didn't get fatigued from the 15 minutes. But do a 5 mile brisk walk, with a 5 minute break and you are looking right at 7 hours.
