Well I can now readily perform a standing triple jump, albeit not well, only hop, skip, jumping myself to a ludicrously poor 16-17 feet. It is interesting though and I would like to improve at it as I seek to improve my sprinting and jumping. Mostly I'm updating this for some weight lifting advice. One thing I realize I am greatly lacking is pure strength and power, to which my pathetic weight PRs can attest (bodyweight is 160, height 5'10):
Bench: 160
Squat: Never tried heavier than 135 because back squats bother my lower back
Deadlift: 225
The problem is, presently, I have no access to a gym, just an old barbell set and bench whish only about 140 lbs of weight (including bar). What is the nest way to deal with these weights? Huge sets to make up for lack of weight (a la Allan Wells)? More explosive motions? Or is it pretty much a lost cause until I find a gym yo join?
