Pretty baller at that age isn't it?
He has run more than 500 marathons in his life.

Testosterone is one hell of a drug.
-
He was certainly born with great recovery genetics (if these even exist)....but Im wondering if he's setting himself up for a serious injury by racing about 180 miles in just 7 days.
-
7 marathons in 7 days
500 marathons
so many marathons
such endurance
wow -
I'm over these people doing stupid meaningless running things. Some even claim world records for them. This woman is complaining because she doesn't get enough recognition.

Is this supposed to be impressive? I knew a guy who was 51-52 years old then and he ran a 2:30 marathon every month (12 2:30 marathons per year at his age)

She's complaining by submitting "written evidence" to an inquiry into women in sport. In other words, she wrote the court a letter, then called a newspaper to say, "I've written the court a letter; come round to take a photo of my and my medals."
And her written evidence has some pretty earth-shattering news:
“Women’s sport is viewed, in most instances, as secondary to men’s sport by virtue of the fact that – apart from in a very few instances such as equestrianism – women do not compete equally in strength and times etc.
“Therefore, the ‘ultimate’ winner of a race or competition or event will always be the strongest, fastest, highest etc. and this is – in nearly all instances – a man."

Says the guy who wears a 50 < 4 visor.
-
Why didn't he just run one marathon in under 2:30?
-
Considering that approximately 2:35 is the winning 50-year-old male category time for NYC, Berlin, Chicago and Boston the answer is you are completely full of shit.

Don't know who is being referenced in the post about the 51-52-year-old guy with a 2:30 marathon every month, but in 2013 my 52-year-old Cal Coast Track Club teammate Matt Ebiner ran 13 marathons, with 11 of those between 2:32 and 2:39, along with a slew of other races. Quite impressive.

Why is one better than 12? What's fun about that?

He didn't run a marathon.
He ran 26 miles @ 7:50 pace for 7 days @ age 51.
The Ukranian female ran a marathon in 2:31 at age 51 a few
years back.
Jogging 7:50 pace isn't as hard as running 26 @ sub 6
at 51. -

Googled, seems like a habitual publicity seeker.
