I say 1:00.xx for Mo. Based in his high mileage workouts at that part of the year.
He won it in 1:00:23 in 2011.
Typo
I'm gonna clip the sh*t out of him, hopefully al sal comes after me
how long since he's been tested?

But do you see him running sub 60 in March?
I'm gonna go with 59:XX.

different course
Mo can easily break 60, but he will run no faster than 4 seconds faster than the 2nd place finisher. The real question is will the NYC Half get someone else to run sub-60:04?

That's quite a big range.

watch out, Nike might send someone to beat you up
http://www.letsrun.com/2007/whet0707.phpTrue. I was thinking 59 mids.
depends on when his flight arrives from kenya...
if he doesn't give himself enough time to get used to sea-level in the eastern time zone, he could have trouble. but no slower than 60:40, no faster than 59:40

Time zone shouldn't affect him at all going east to west, especially with an early (7 am ET) start.
Time zone is a much bigger deal for the West Coast guys. Last year Ritzenhein said he didn't fall asleep at all the night before. Considering he would probably wake up 4-5 hours beforehand, it would have been 11 pm to midnight his time.

Keep in mind that the time will likely depend on the wind situation. This time of the year is a gamble, could be from the South or North.
2011 was North wind, so a nice tail wind, hence Farah/Rupp finishing rather fast.
2014? We will see.
he will break world record for half marathon
mo farah= super man without the cape
Speaking of Ritz...what's up with him? He usually likes to run a tune up race before a marathon but I have heard nothing about him.
Given that he ran a 3:29 (1500) a few months ago and he is hoping to do well at the marathon, he would have to be close to world record at half.
Unless of course he will not do very well at the marathon...
