We are well into the indoor season and have already seen some truly amazing performances thus far, particularly in the distances. This is of course a distance-oriented board, but I thought it would be good to devote a thread to the sprint events thus far this season, which seem to have been pushed to the background (rightfully, I say, given what we've seen in the middle and long races so far). I have also attempted to start a thread like this for the high jump which is rolling with last year's momentum and could shape up to be something special.
Some performances of note thus far:
Yuniel Perez of Cuba thus far has the season lead in the 60m with a 6.49 run at the Russian Winter Games:

(the title and the video say 6.47, but it seems to have been corrected to 6.49). This run ties the Cuban record of Freddy Mayola from 2000. Perez's outdoor PRs are 10.22 (+1.1) and 20.75 (+1.1) and 46.72.
James Dasaolu is close behind with a 6.50 win over Dwain Chambers in Glasgow:

Perhaps the most impressive result, though, comes from 20-year old Marvin Bracy who recorded a 6.53 win at the NBIGP (defeating Mike Rodgers, amongst others).
I can't find the video right now but I will post it when I do.
Christophe Lemaitre has thus far participated in two relatively low-key events (as far as I know), recording three wins. The first meet was in Mondeville and he ran 6.61 for the 60m. Today he ran the 60m in 6.63 and the 200m in a PR of 20.70.

Pavel Maslak of the Czech Republic impressed today with a 32.15 300m, the fourth fastest indoor 300m ever (after 3 Americans: Clemment, Merritt, and Spearmon, not in that order) in Gent, Belgium (the 60m at this meet was won by Ndure in 6.65 with Yniel Perez finishing in over 7 seconds for reasons I do not yet know). Maslak also recorded a win in the 400m at the Galan in Stockholme with a 45.66:

I know that I have missed a lot of results, and please make additions to this thread to fill the gaps I have missed. Also, I apologize that this post only includes male sprinters, I am not up to date on the women's sprint scene.
