if you love your kids, never ever ever spank them. you will regret it for the rest of your life. spanking is abuse and causes autism and aspergers and all types of mental problems in children.

Wow Jenny McCarthy is posting here now!
Apparently scrambled eggs causes autism as well based on a recent study.

You mean never spank a kid WITH Autism or Asperger's.
Does it turn them into huge man trannys who look like ugly women with man voices? Because there's one sitting two seats down the bar from me and I'd like to beat her parents if they are responsible for that mess.

The only correlation I can see is that autism and aspergers are upper-middle class white kid problems.
I have to young men in college, both STEM majors, and not only have I never hit them (lightsaber battles excepted), I have never even raised my voice to them except when there safety was at stake. I spend my time helping them (calculus/chemistry/physics tutor, etc), not hitting them.
I know what the Bible says, but in my mind, having to his a child is a sign of weakness, not a sign of strength.

Oh, they are STEM majors. I was going to say you don't really have a point, but since they are stem majors your wisdom is apparent.
One is in biochemisty and one is in computer science. I don't think anyone with much in the way of intelligence needs to beat their kids.
I would estimate conservatively that any over 70% of human beings born before 1950s were disciplined by spanking. Do you have the rates for autism and aspergers then. Do you know that spanking in many developing countries is widely employed even todate? Do you think they have more autism prevalence there that say the US?
So an English or Music major would tend to be a beater? Or beating produces Sociology majors?

no....just no. Work with lower income minority populations and you will see autism there, as well.
