also do some "mini-sets" of a few of the these before runs &workouts as glute activation exercises to get them firing/ready to be used.
Could be lie on your back on floor
Slow raise arse off floor then slowly straighten leg hold then go back down. Try on both legs if it harder on one side or you fell your hip dipping on one side you have weak glutes on that side- as you have probs on h/s on both side could be both weak. Do alternate reps to strengthen 20 each side every 2 days
Could be weak h/s as well but often misdiagnosed - like mine for 20 yrs until found new physio
