If I understand correctly, at peak training you would be running 21 miles on Sunday. The following Sunday you would run 18 miles with the last 8 at MP. That is pretty demanding.

Last fall I did 21 mi (slow) on Sunday, then 6mi @ HMP (~6min/mi) on Thursday, followed by 18mi on Sunday (9 slow, 8 @ 6:20 pace, 1 slow). That last run was 2 weeks before the Marathon, taper from there.
That was indeed pretty demanding and you have to be careful not to over train, but it worked for me.
