Hey everyone, I am a former runner who hasn't ran since Soph year of HS where I posted times of 5k - 16:54 1500 - 4:44 3200 - 10:02 800 - 2:05 . After that I got involved in the wrong crowd and it took me going to jail to make me come to my senses.
Its 3 years later now and I am 19 now going into my first season of track for a JUCO. I have 7 semesters of D2 or D3 athletics and 3 years at a D1 and am fully determined to run every one of those and so on for the rest of my life.
What is a good way to start my training again and to build back to where I was? Ive started out with a 35 mile first week and have just been trying to build my endurance back up.
Ive screwed my old coach over enough in HS to the point where we aren't in contact anymore and my only source of advice is knowledgeable runners that I can find in any ways.
I am fully determined to reach my full potential and will go to hell in back to be a great runner.
Any advice it all would be greatly appreciated.
