After graduating university, I promised myself I would continue with running until I reached my potential or lost motivation. Neither have happened yet, but my long work hours make training overwhelming.
I've run decently so far since making the adjustment, but the past couple weeks have been especially busy. When fitting in work, training and nothing else, I'm lucky to get six hours sleep. While this isn't unusual for a "normal" person, it makes 100 mile weeks extremely taxing and my workouts have been rough.
Hoping to hear from somebody who's gone through something similar? Do you ever adapt? Is it all downhill from here?
