I am a freshman girl in high school, and early September I ran my PR of 20:52, on a somewhat SLOW course.. before that, i ran a 9:39 1.5 miles. and a 23:00 on a TERRIBLY slow and hilly course, where i was practically running by myself due to few runners.
Recently, (late Sept., early Oct.) I have been running from 21:10- 21:30s for my past 3 races, feeling DEAD and dizzy/nauseous afterward.
My training has been going kind of tiring, as I think I am dying out... I have however not lost hope that I will someday return back to "normal" and better than ever!
My teammates' times keep dropping (PRing), as I am not.. I have looked up my symptoms and think that I may have an Iron Deficiency. Includes:
-Practically about to "collapse" during races, very dizzy during race and after for some time, I have athletic endused asthma(controlled by meds) as it has been feeling even worse recently.
- I am FREEZING (yes, like actually freezing) afterwards, and have just been feeling SO tired lately in practice and races.
- I have lost some of my appetite, as I have been craving Ice. I still eat somewhat healthy.
PLEASE, help me turn my season back around!! Help with some possible solutions!
