Been trying to go sub 18 all summer . Today I ran a 18:31 on a relatively hilly course. My PR is 18:22 on a flat course a month ago.. I'm wondering how much longer til I can get rid of that last 20-30 secs?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Probably 1-2 more races, in any case (with the proviso that times can be affected by so many things, and really mean little in cross).
Serious advice: for the week before your next race, knock off early from screwing around on the Internet and go to bed at a reasonable hour (yes, both days on the weekend too). You're going to go under 18 soon regardless, but a week of adequate sleep will make it easier.
Please bump this thread and let us know how your next few races go. And good luck!
